The Monastery of Holy Trinity stands on the southwestern slopes of Ovčar Mountain, featuring traditional Serbian medieval architecture with detailed frescoes and religious artworks.
Construction records and Ottoman census data indicate the monastery's establishment in the late 16th century, followed by destruction and subsequent reconstruction after the 17th century.
The monastery houses precious religious artifacts, including a throne cross embroidered with gold and silver threads, along with two notable throne icons of the Savior and Virgin.
Visitors can reach the monastery via marked trails from Ovčar Banja, with the journey taking approximately 75 minutes from the mountain's summit through forested paths.
The monastery forms part of the Ovčar-Kablar gorge complex, where multiple Orthodox monasteries create a spiritual center often called the Serbian Holy Mountain.
