Blagoveštenje Monastery is an Orthodox religious site in Ovčar Banja with a central church dedicated to the Annunciation at its heart. Stone walls protect the western and southern sections of the compound, surrounding monastic buildings and the open spaces between them.
The monastery was founded in 1602, as indicated by an inscription above the western entrance, under the direction of hegumen Nikifor and the monastic community. This period saw significant religious construction and activity across the Ovčar Banja region.

The site welcomes visitors during regular opening hours, with respectful behavior expected from those who enter. Those wishing to explore the architectural features and historical items should plan for a relaxed pace and respect the spiritual character of the location.
Serbian Patriarch Pavle took his monastic vows here in 1948, marking a defining moment for the church. This historical connection makes the site significant for understanding modern Serbian Orthodox religious life.
