The Monument of Memory and Unity stands in Maykop with sweeping curved lines and a central hearth structure composed of five distinct levels stacked vertically. The design combines these flowing forms with symbolic elements that represent different aspects of the region's past.

This memorial was completed in 2013 to honor those lost during the Caucasian War. The structure marks a defining period in the region's complex past and its relationship to broader historical events.

Each tier displays different elements of Adyghe culture, including New Year ceremonies, traditional warrior artifacts, and representations of notable historical figures.

The memorial sits in a central location within the city and is easily reached on foot from major areas. The open setting allows visiting at any time of day without special restrictions.

The western side features a relief pattern inspired by ancient silver embroidery from warrior chainmail. This design symbolizes the boundary between life and death while connecting old craft traditions with contemporary memorial design.
