Bolshoy Tkhach Nature Park
Bolshoy Tkhach Nature Park, Nature reserve in Maykop District, Adygea, Russia.
The protected area spans 3705 hectares across the Sakhray River valley and includes sections of the Bolshoy Tkhach Mountain plateau.
The Nature Park received its protected status through a presidential decree from the Republic of Adygea in October 1997.
The territory contains archaeological evidence of human settlements that reveal the historical connection between local communities and these mountain lands.
Several marked trails guide visitors through the park's diverse landscapes, leading to notable landmarks such as Devil's Gates and Kolokolnya Rock.
The park houses the sources of multiple rivers including Bolshoy Sakhray, Maly Sakhray, Afonka, Slesarnya, and Shisha.
