Tsushima obelisk, War memorial obelisk in Nikolsky Garden, Saint Petersburg, Russia
The granite and bronze obelisk rises 8.5 meters near Saint Nicholas Naval Cathedral, featuring reliefs depicting naval battle scenes and memorial plaques.
Built in 1908 to commemorate the crew of battleship Imperator Aleksander III who perished during the Battle of Tsushima in the Russo-Japanese War.
The monument stands as a testament to Russian naval heritage, with inscribed names of fallen sailors who served during the early twentieth century.
