The seminary opened in 1909 to address teacher shortages in the Kuban region, with architect G.N. Nikitin constructing the building between 1910 and 1915.
The building served as a primary educational institution for women teachers until 1920, marking a period of advancement in female professional development.
Following recent restoration approval, the building undergoes reconstruction to preserve its historical features while adding modern amenities such as elevators.
The structure retains original decorative elements including stucco work, parapet pedestals, and wrought iron railings from the early 20th century.
