This hotel was developed as part of the Gothia Towers expansion and emerged from the city's investment in high-end hospitality during the last few decades. Its development coincided with Gothenburg's growth as a modern tourist destination.

The restaurant here serves dishes rooted in Swedish cooking traditions, using seasonal ingredients sourced from nearby farms and producers. Dining becomes a way to experience how local flavors and seasons shape what people eat in this region.
