James Cook University Singapore is a university in Singapore that has operated since 2003 as part of James Cook University Australia, offering programs in business, IT, psychology, science, and hospitality. The campus features a gym, basketball and soccer courts, a psychology clinic, and operates on a trimester schedule that allows students to complete degrees faster or study at flexible times throughout the year.
The university was established in 2003 and became the first institution of its kind to receive the EduTrust Star Award, recognizing excellence in management and student support. It is the only overseas university with full university status in Singapore and has operated the Tropical Futures Institute since 2018, the first research center established by an Australian university in the city.
