Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Gothic Revival Catholic church in Rochor, Singapore
The Church of Our Lady of Lourdes features grand arches, pilasters, and an eight-petalled rose window at 50 Ophir Road in Singapore.
The church, established in 1888, became the first Tamil Catholic church in Singapore after Governor Sir Frederick Weld allocated land for its construction.
The church conducts religious services in multiple languages, including English, Tamil, and Sinhalese, serving a diverse congregation in central Singapore.
The church currently holds services in a temporary tent structure during restoration works, with parking available on Queen Street and Arab Street.
The interior contains life-sized statues depicting the appearance of Our Lady to Saint Bernadette within a specially designed grotto.
