Luzhu District

Luzhu District extends over 75.50 square kilometers and contains 37 distinct villages, each maintaining its own local characteristics and community structures.

The area transformed from a rural township to a county-administered city in June 2014, and later became an official district of Taoyuan City in December 2014.

The district preserves traditional Taiwanese customs through its villages, where residents participate in annual festivals and maintain local community gatherings.

The central Nankan area features high-rise buildings and Taimall shopping center, serving residents who commute to Taipei and Taoyuan City for work.

EVA Air and Evergreen Marine Corporation established their headquarters in Luzhu District, making it a significant center for Taiwan's transportation industry.
