Luzhu District

Luzhu District is an administrative area in Taoyuan made up of about 37 separate villages, each with its own character and layout. The central Nankan area stands out with modern high-rise buildings and the Taimall shopping center, which serves as a commercial hub.

This area was once primarily rural but underwent major changes starting in 2014 when it gained new administrative status. That shift brought modern development and economic activity to what had been quieter communities.

The villages here maintain local customs through community gatherings and seasonal celebrations where residents come together regularly. These events form the heart of neighborhood life and shape how people experience their surroundings.

The district is easy to navigate since the villages are relatively close together and the Nankan area serves as a natural center point. Visitors should know that many residents commute to the city, so the area gets busier during rush hours.

The district hosts the headquarters of major shipping and aviation companies, which have made it an important business center. These large operations give the area an industrial significance that shapes its development.
