Jingfu Temple

The temple structure features traditional Taiwanese architectural elements, with detailed carvings and decorative patterns across its three main halls and multiple courtyards.

The temple was initially constructed in 1745 during the Qianlong period and underwent major reconstruction in 1923 under the supervision of master craftsman Chen Yingbin.

Jingfu Temple serves as a primary center for worshipping Kaizhang Shengwang, a deity particularly revered by Zhangzhou immigrants who settled in northern Taiwan.

The temple organizes religious ceremonies on the 17th day of the first lunar month and celebrates its main deity's birthday on the 15th day of the second lunar month.

The temple houses Taiwan's largest Qing Dynasty statue of Kaizhang Shengwang, accompanied by ancient wooden plaques that demonstrate its historical importance.
