Zhongli railway station is a passenger hub in Taoyuan with platforms at ground level and an underground section for planned transit connections. The building connects several levels and serves daily train services to other parts of Taiwan.
The station opened in 1893 and marked the beginning of railway connectivity in the Taoyuan region of northern Taiwan. It has since grown into a major transportation hub for travelers in this area.
The station functions as a central point near educational institutions, including Chung Yuan Christian University and the Army Academy of Taiwan.
The station is accessible by local and regional buses and will eventually connect with the airport metro line. Visitors should allow enough time to navigate between the different levels and platforms.
