Gordon Way, Hiking trail in Aberdeenshire, Scotland

The Gordon Way extends for 18.5 kilometers through Bennachie Forest, crossing varied terrain from woodlands to moorlands with an elevation gain of 707 meters.

The path incorporates former peat extraction routes that were established across the hills of Aberdeenshire, marking the industrial heritage of this Scottish region.

Marked with hexagonal logos featuring the letter 'G', the trail connects local communities from the Bennachie Centre near Inverurie to the Suie Car Park.

Hikers need Ordnance Survey maps 37, 38 or Explorer 62, 421 for navigation, and the trail requires approximately four hours to complete in one direction.

The trail reaches its highest point at Watch Craig at 450 meters, offering views across the surrounding hills and valleys of northeastern Scotland.
