Missouri Theatre Center for the Arts, Concert hall and theater in downtown Columbia, United States.

The Missouri Theatre features ornate baroque decorations, Belgian marble walls, and an Italian chandelier weighing 1800 pounds throughout its interior spaces.

Built in 1928 as a movie palace and vaudeville stage, the theater underwent a complete restoration in 2007 and reopened with a performance by Tony Bennett.

The Missouri Symphony Orchestra performs regular concerts at the venue, while university students and professional theater companies present diverse theatrical productions.

The theater box office, located at 505 Hitt Street inside the Fine Arts Building, sells tickets in person, online, or through phone reservations at 573-882-PLAY.

The Missouri Rockettes, who later became the Radio City Rockettes, performed at the theater's grand opening celebration on October 5, 1928.
