One Washington Park

One Washington Park is a 17-story office building in Newark with red brick and reflective glass panels on its facade. The first eleven floors house Rutgers Business School, while Amazon Audible occupies levels fourteen through seventeen.

Bell Telephone Company built this as a network operations center in 1983. The structure was acquired by Fidelco Group in 2004 and later transitioned to house both business education and technology companies.

The building stands in an area near Newark Public Library, Newark Museum, and New Jersey Performing Arts Center. This cluster of educational and arts institutions shapes how people use and perceive the neighborhood.

The main entrance is on Washington Street with clear signage for different tenants and visitors. The Rutgers Business School occupies the lower floors, while upper levels have their own access points.

The seventh floor houses Newark Venture Partners, a technology accelerator program supporting multiple companies as they develop and grow. This role gives the building a particular place in the city's innovation ecosystem.
