Pittsburgh Council on Higher Education is a network of eleven accredited colleges and universities in the Pittsburgh area. Member schools work together to share resources and expand access to courses and academic programs across their campuses.
Founded in 1966, the organization brought together higher education institutions across the Pittsburgh region. Over the following decades, it has strengthened partnerships between these schools through collaborative programs.
Member institutions include Carnegie Mellon University, University of Pittsburgh, and nine other schools, representing diverse academic traditions and educational approaches.
Students at member institutions can enroll in courses at other participating schools in the network. This gives learners more choices and flexibility when planning their academic schedules.
