Red Maple Farm features a main house, smoke house, and barn on Raymond Road, west of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.
The house was constructed in 1740 by Joachim Gulick, whose family operated a stage line and maintained ownership of the property until 1901.
The property served as a stop on the Underground Railroad, contributing to the network of safe houses assisting enslaved people seeking freedom.
