Riley Towers, Residential towers in Downtown Indianapolis, United States
The three Riley Towers stand at different heights, with two 30-floor buildings reaching 295 feet and one 16-floor structure at 157 feet.
Construction of Riley Towers began in May 1962 as part of Project H, an urban renewal initiative, and the complex opened in 1963 at a cost of $10.5 million.
The residential complex carries the name of James Whitcomb Riley and has housed notable residents including Indiana governors Otis Bowen and Edgar Whitcomb.
The complex contains 524 apartment units, offering studio to three-bedroom layouts, with amenities including a three-level parking garage and outdoor swimming pool.
The buildings feature distinctive cantilevered corner balconies and remain the tallest residential structures in Indiana, connected by an open-air skyway to the parking facility.
