Saluki Stadium features a modern two-story press box, 1,080 chairback seats, and a grass berm surrounding the north end zone for additional spectator space.
The stadium replaced McAndrew Stadium in 2010 as part of the $83 million Saluki Way Project to enhance Southern Illinois University athletic facilities.
Southern Illinois University football games bring together students, alumni, and local residents who gather to support the Salukis throughout the season.
Located at 1415 Arena Drive in Carbondale, the stadium contains 12 club suites, a 2,500-square-foot VIP Club Room, and seats for 15,000 spectators.
The stadium served as an observation point for the 2017 solar eclipse and will repeat this function for the April 2024 celestial event.
