St. Augustine's Church, Episcopal church building in Lower East Side, Manhattan, United States.

St. Augustine's Church combines Georgian architecture with Gothic windows, featuring a double pediment and projecting tower built from Manhattan schist stone.

The church originated in 1819 as a mission near Grand Street Ferry, was organized as a parish in 1824, and construction began in 1827.

The structure contains two galleries beside the organ loft, which according to local accounts served as observation areas for enslaved individuals.

The church conducts Holy Eucharist services every Sunday at 10:00 AM and offers guided tours of historical galleries on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Edgar Allan Poe attended services at St. Augustine's Church during its early years of operation in the nineteenth century.
