Stewart Park, Public park at Cayuga Lake shore in Ithaca, United States.
Stewart Park spans over extensive grounds featuring walking paths, playgrounds, and picnic areas along the southern end of Cayuga Lake.
The park grounds originated as military lot 88 in 1790, later transformed into Renwick Park in 1894, and finally became Stewart Park in 1921.
The park maintains the Fuertes Bird Sanctuary, established in 1915, which spans 55 acres and serves as a critical habitat for local wildlife.
Visitors can access multiple facilities including tennis courts, pavilions for rent, athletic fields, and a spray pool, with free admission from dawn to dusk.
The park houses a carousel from 1952 that operates from Memorial Day through Labor Day, offering rides for one dollar per person.
