The Invisible Dog Art Center

The Invisible Dog Art Center is a three-story arts facility spanning approximately 30,000 square feet at 51 Bergen Street with exhibition spaces and studios throughout. Multiple gallery areas across the levels showcase contemporary art installations and creative work.

The building was constructed in 1863 as a manufacturing facility for belts and novelty items, continuing in this role until 2008. That year, Lucien Zayan converted the former factory into an arts center.

The space hosts contemporary art shows, performances, and artist residencies that connect creators with visitors and the local community. These events and markets shape the artistic rhythm of the neighborhood.
