Winter Garden Atrium

The Winter Garden Atrium spans 295,000 square feet with a 120-foot glass vault ceiling, hosting sixteen 40-foot Washingtonia robusta palm trees in its interior.

The structure sustained damage during the September 11 attacks and underwent a $50 million restoration in 2002, requiring 2,000 glass panes and 60,000 square feet of marble.

The atrium functions as a center for artistic presentations, featuring regular concerts, ballet performances, exhibitions, and seasonal celebrations throughout the calendar year.

Located at Brookfield Place, the Winter Garden Atrium provides direct access to multiple subway lines, the North Cove Marina, and numerous dining establishments.

The glass-enclosed space incorporates a collection of Washingtonia robusta palms that grow six inches annually, reaching toward the transparent vaulted ceiling.
