The World's Largest Tuned Musical Windchime in Eureka Springs holds a certified record with six metal pipes reaching a height of roughly 35 feet (11 meters) and weighing about 650 pounds (295 kilograms) combined. It is now housed indoors at the Celestial Windz Harmonic Bizaar and viewed by visitors through scheduled appointments.
Ranaga Farbiarz created the wind chime in 2004 as a tribute to his father Ignatz, a Holocaust survivor. This monumental work emerged from a desire to honor family history through an artistic creation.
The six metal pipes are tuned to an Oriental pentatonic scale, creating sounds that blend elements of cathedral bells and Tibetan singing bowls.
