Laurel Caverns, Show cave in Farmington, United States.

Laurel Caverns is a show cave in Chestnut Ridge featuring about five kilometers of passages shaped by limestone dissolution over millions of years. The cave contains various rock formations and underground waterways in its deeper sections.

The cave was first explored in 1816 under the name Dulany's Cave. It opened to the public as a show cave in 1964.

Visitors learn how caves form and which creatures thrive in darkness during guided tours. The experience teaches people about the natural processes that shaped this underground world.

The interior maintains a constant cool temperature around 52 degrees year-round, so bring a jacket regardless of the season. Groups planning to visit together should arrange in advance to ensure availability.

This underground system ranks as Pennsylvania's largest cave by volume of passages. This distinction makes it a significant location for studying eastern cave systems.
