St. John's Episcopal Church

St. John's Episcopal Church is a neo-Gothic stone building with pointed arches and a 126-foot tower that rises prominently from the street. Five large Tiffany stained glass windows fill the interior with colored light and frame the spiritual space within.

The congregation was founded in 1706 by missionaries from London, and the current stone structure was consecrated in 1860. It served as a major center for Anglican worship during America's early years.
