Rynearson Stadium, College football stadium in Ypsilanti, Michigan, United States.

Rynearson Stadium is a college football stadium in Ypsilanti, Michigan, that holds about 30,200 spectators. The facility features two main grandstands with a running track that circles the playing field.

The stadium opened in 1969 with Eastern Michigan University winning its inaugural game against the University of Akron. It has since grown into an important sports venue for the region.

The stadium serves as the home of the Eastern Michigan Eagles and draws fans who gather regularly for college football games throughout the season. It has become a gathering place for the local sports community, connecting generations of students and residents.

Visitors should know the stadium has lighting for evening games and events at various times throughout the day. This makes it possible to watch matches at times that work best for different schedules.

The playing field features an unusual gray synthetic surface instead of the typical green grass. This makes it one of only a few stadiums at this level with a non-traditional field surface.
