Grays Beach, Coastal beach in Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts
The beach features a quarter-mile boardwalk extending over salt marshes, connecting visitors to sand flats and Cape Cod Bay waters.
Originally called Bass Hole before 1700, this recreational area has served the Yarmouth community since its establishment in 1639.
The beach serves as a gathering place where residents and visitors participate in fishing, clamming, and nature observation throughout the seasons.
Beach stickers for parking can be obtained at Yarmouth Town Hall on Route 28 or through the Chamber of Commerce at 657 Route 28.
During low tide, the expansive tidal flats reveal a network of shallow pools where various marine species gather and feed.
