Schloss Riet, Water castle in Vaihingen an der Enz, Germany

Schloss Riet features a prominent south facade with four corner towers and two timber-frame upper floors above massive stone foundations.

The original structure dates to the 12th century as a Hohenstaufen water fortress, with substantial modifications made during the 15th and 16th centuries.

The castle grounds host regular art exhibitions, concerts, and cultural events in the garden area, connecting the local community with historical heritage.

The castle stands at 254 meters above sea level and can be reached via the B10 road, with parking facilities available near the premises.

Current residents include electronic musician Shit Robot and former MTV presenter Kimsy von Reischach, continuing the castle's noble lineage.
