Carriage Museum, Royal Vehicle Museum in Bulaq district, Cairo, Egypt

The Royal Carriage Museum displays a collection of vehicles used by the Muhammad Ali dynasty, including ornate carriages, chariots, and horse accessories.

The museum building was established during Khedive Ismail's reign between 1863 and 1879, initially serving as the Department of Khedival Carriages.

The museum exhibits the ceremonial Alay carriage, a gift from Napoleon III to Khedive Ismail during the Suez Canal inauguration in 1869.

The museum opens daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with tickets priced at 30 Egyptian pounds for adults and 10 Egyptian pounds for students.

The collection contains royal garments, oil paintings of monarchs, and specialized equipment used by the staff of the former Royal Stables Department.
