The Sheikh Salman al-Huzail House stands on a hilltop as a three-story stone building surrounded by high walls overlooking the grazing lands of northern Negev.

Built in 1924, this mansion served as a reception venue for presidents, prime ministers, and notable figures, including Yitzhak Ben-Zvi, Golda Meir, and Menachem Begin.

The residence features a diwan meeting hall where significant tribal gatherings and dialogues took place between the Bedouin community and distinguished guests.

The structure requires substantial renovation funding as it currently stands abandoned and deteriorating, presenting safety concerns for visitors and the local population.

Sheikh Salman al-Huzail, who had 39 wives and 76 children, constructed this mansion using railway sleepers, concrete, and cut stone to ensure structural durability.
