The Sheikh Salman al-Huzail House is a three-story stone structure sitting atop a hilltop and surrounded by high walls, overlooking grazing lands in the northern Negev region. The building displays robust construction with mixed materials chosen to ensure long-term durability.

The residence was built in 1924 and served as a reception venue for presidents, prime ministers, and other notable figures during the early period of Israel. It became a significant location for high-level visits and political encounters in the region.

The diwan hall within the residence served as a gathering space for tribal assemblies and conversations between the Bedouin community and visiting dignitaries. This room reflects the importance of the place as a center for dialogue and exchange in local society.
