Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, History museum in Peace Park, Japan.

The Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum presents artifacts, photographs, and documents that detail the nuclear attack on August 9, 1945, and its aftermath.

Established in 1955 and relocated to a new building in 1996, the museum replaced the International Culture Hall as the primary facility for atomic bomb artifacts.

The museum maintains collections of personal items, including burned clothing and a watch frozen at 11:02, representing the moment of nuclear detonation.

Located at 7-8 Hirano-machi, the museum operates daily from 8:30 to 17:00 and includes a library, video corner, bookshop, and exhibition rooms.

The facility houses remnants of a water tower from Keiho Junior High School, positioned 800 meters from the nuclear explosion hypocenter.
