中町教会, Catholic church in Nagasaki, Japan.
The white stone building features a tall spire and exterior walls that survived the 1945 atomic bombing, standing near the Nagasaki train station.
Originally constructed between 1891 and 1897 under French priest Papinot's design, the church received financial support from French women and local benefactors.
The church contains statues of Saint Thomas Nishi and fifteen companions in its garden, commemorating Japanese Christian martyrs from past centuries.
Visitors can enter the church between 9:00 and 17:00, with services held in Japanese, English, and Spanish throughout the week at specific times.
The church structure incorporates its original spire and outer walls that withstood the atomic blast, making it an officially designated atomic bomb heritage site.
