Hottarakashi Onsen

Hottarakashi Onsen contains two separate outdoor bathing areas positioned on different levels, offering views across the Kofu Plain and Mount Fuji.

The facility maintains the traditional Japanese bathing culture by providing natural alkaline spring waters with pH levels between 9.6 and 10.1 for therapeutic purposes.

Following Japanese bathing customs, visitors wash thoroughly before entering the communal baths, where they can experience sunrise viewing while soaking in mineral-rich waters.

The onsen opens one hour before sunrise and remains accessible until 22:00, with entry fees of 900 yen per person for each bath section.

The facility features two distinct bathing areas: Kocchi no Yu with its wooden architecture and Acchi no Yu constructed from natural stone materials.
