Kumamoto National College of Technology

Kumamoto National College of Technology operates two campuses, one focusing on electronics and information systems and the other on mechanical and civil engineering. Both locations offer five-year regular courses open to students after junior high school, followed by optional two-year advanced programs that lead to bachelor degrees.

The institution was established in 2009 through the merger of several technical schools, including the Kumamoto Wireless Telegraph Training Center founded in 1943. This consolidation brought together different engineering traditions and shaped the college's current educational direction.
