Kumamoto National College of Technology

The college maintains two campuses offering engineering education, with Kōshi focusing on electronics and information systems while Yatsushiro specializes in mechanical and civil engineering disciplines.

The institution emerged in 2009 through the consolidation of multiple technical schools, including the Kumamoto Wireless Telegraph Training Center established in 1943.
