白滝山

Mount Shirataki rises to 667.6 meters above sea level at the western end of the Nagato mountain range in Yamaguchi Prefecture.

The mountain features ancient trails and the Nakayama Shrine, which has been a spiritual landmark for local communities through generations.

Local hikers gather at the summit during sunrise hours to observe traditional mountain ceremonies and share meals together.

Multiple hiking routes lead to the summit, with the most common path starting from the Shirataki Forest Road at an elevation of 330 meters.

A blue-green waterfall pool within the gorge creates natural formations between rock walls along the mountain trail.
