神田川橋梁, Steel bridge in Chiyoda-ku, Japan

The Kandagawa Bridge is a steel structure that crosses the Kandagawa River in Chiyoda, linking different parts of the district. The bridge spans 56 meters and allows both pedestrians and vehicles to cross the river.

The bridge was built in 1932 and replaced earlier structures destroyed in the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake. It was part of Tokyo's broader reconstruction efforts following that disaster.

This crossing point represents Japanese engineering advancement, as it emerged during a time when Tokyo was developing its modern transportation network.

The bridge sits near several train stations and the Imperial Palace, making it easily accessible. Visitors can cross from different parts of the district to reach the other side of the river.

The structure maintains its original engineering elements from 1932, demonstrating the durability of Japanese construction methods from the early 20th century.
