The restored wooden structure spans multiple floors with traditional Japanese architecture, featuring spacious halls and garden views from every room.
Originally established in 1877 as Gion Saikotei, the establishment served as a gathering place for politicians until its closure in 1996.
The main hall displays 29 calligraphy plaques created by notable Japanese figures, including former Prime Minister Eisaku Sato and statesman Kaoru Inoue.
The facility opens from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with exhibition viewing until 5:00 PM, and charges 100 yen for adults and 50 yen for children.
Visitors can experience traditional tea ceremonies in the main hall every first through third weekend of each month from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
