Sekigahara Town History and Folklore Museum

The museum presents exhibits across six time periods from prehistory to modern times, displaying local artifacts and historical documents from the region.

The facility offers detailed information about the Battle of Sekigahara through exhibits and documents stored in the Sekigahara Archives on the first floor.

The second floor experience exhibition room focuses on life after the Meiji period, featuring four sections about mountain work tools and traditional farming equipment.

Located an 8-minute walk from JR Sekigahara Station, the museum operates from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM with free admission and closes on Mondays.

The museum organizes monthly workshops where participants can learn ancient techniques by creating Wadokaichin coins and traditional roof tiles.
