Museum of Recent Art

The Museum of Recent Art occupies a five-level building of 1200 square meters, displaying over 150 artworks from Romanian and international artists.

The museum stands on the location of an interwar villa that belonged to Communist Party leader Ana Pauker before its transformation in 2018.

The collection contains more than 1,000 works by 250 artists, including Ion Țuculescu, Andrei Cădere, and international creators like Lucio Fontana.

Located at 15 Primăverii Boulevard, the museum welcomes visitors from 11:00 to 19:00 every day except Tuesdays, with guided tours available.

The dark-colored brick building sits above a fully glazed space, creating an open atrium that connects with the street environment.
