Udegeyskaya Legenda National Park

Udegeyskaya Legenda is a national park in Primorsky Krai covering dense mixed forests across mountain slopes in the Sikhote-Alin region of far eastern Russia. The landscape features river valleys, diverse woodland ecosystems, and natural habitats that support wildlife and rare plant species.

The park was established in 2007 to protect the forest landscape and wildlife of this remote region. Archaeological sites scattered throughout the area reveal human settlement spanning from prehistoric times through the medieval period.

An ancient yew tree estimated at 2,000 years old grows in a grove within the park and serves as a focal point for making wishes. The tree has become a tradition among visitors who leave small tokens or messages at this quietly meaningful place.
