Udegeyskaya Legenda National Park

The park spans 103,744 hectares of coniferous-deciduous forest on the western slope of Central Sikhote-Alin mountains between Vladivostok and Khabarovsk.

Established in 2007, the protected area contains 28 archaeological sites from different periods, ranging from Stone Age to Medieval times.

The territory maintains strong connections to indigenous Udege people, whose population numbers under 1,500 and traditionally practice hunting and fishing.

Visitors access the park through Dalnerechensk train station, located 144 kilometers away, with facilities including guest accommodations and guided tours.

The Kovalevskaya Yew Grove features a 2,000-year-old common yew tree where travelers participate in the tradition of wish-making.
