Tito Bridge, River crossing in Maribor, Slovenia.
The steel and concrete bridge extends 304 meters across the Drava River, connecting residential districts with the central area of Maribor.
Built between 1961 and 1963 under architect Boris Pipan, the bridge required 9152 cubic meters of concrete and 225 tons of wires for construction.
The structure bears the name of former Yugoslav president Josip Broz Tito, reflecting the architectural and social changes of post-war Slovenia.
The bridge accommodates both pedestrian and vehicle traffic, with dedicated pathways offering direct access to multiple neighborhoods of Maribor.
The Provincial Archives of Maribor maintains a collection of 400 photographs documenting the entire construction process of the bridge.
