The Pastor's House is a colonial building with red brick walls, verandas, and a raised entrance staircase located on Aletheia University's grounds. The structure follows European building practices with sloped roofs and ordered brickwork that typified missionary residences of that era in Taiwan.

The house was built in 1909 and served as a residence for Canadian missionaries and religious leaders. It emerged during a period when Western influences were shaping Taiwan, and buildings like this helped define the region's new architectural character.

The building shows how Western and local building styles blended during Tamsui's colonial period. Walking through the spaces today, you can see this mix reflected in both the overall design and the smaller architectural details.

You can reach the house using the Tamsui MRT line to Tamsui Station and then walking to the university campus. Since it sits on university grounds, allow extra time for navigation and check opening hours before visiting.

The brickwork of the house displays careful hand-laid craftsmanship that set it apart from typical Taiwanese construction methods of the time. This meticulous European building technique remains visible today in the precise arrangement of the bricks.
