Kittatinny Valley State Park

Kittatinny Valley State Park spans glacial lakes, limestone formations, and four interconnected lake systems within the headwaters of the Pequest River. The park contains diverse habitats with different plants and animals that shape the landscape.

Railroad lines from the late industrial era once cut through the area and were later converted into trails for outdoor recreation. This transformation shows how old infrastructure was repurposed for public use.
