Muzzy Field

Muzzy Field is a baseball stadium in Bristol, Connecticut, featuring a brick-faced grandstand with around 5000 seats. Tall pine trees surround the outfield wall and frame the playing area.

Adrian Muzzy donated the land in 1912 to establish a sports venue, which opened in 1914 for baseball and football games. The facility has operated for more than 100 years and become a cornerstone of the town.

The stadium hosts the annual Battle for the Bell football game between Bristol Eastern and Bristol Central on Thanksgiving morning. This rivalry game is deeply rooted in the community and brings families and residents together.

The stadium is accessible from Interstate 84 by taking Exit 31 and following Route 229 toward downtown. The location offers straightforward access for visitors and ample parking space.

The stadium hosted legendary baseball players including Babe Ruth and Satchel Paige during their careers. These visits connect the field to the broader history of professional baseball development.
