Muzzy Field, Baseball stadium in Bristol, Connecticut, US
Muzzy Field contains a brick-faced grandstand with 4,900 seats and features tall pine trees surrounding the outfield wall perimeter.
Adrian Muzzy donated the land in 1912 to establish a sports venue, which officially opened in 1914 for baseball and football games.
The stadium hosts the annual Battle for the Bell football game between Bristol Eastern and Bristol Central on Thanksgiving morning.
Visitors can access the stadium from Interstate 84 by taking Exit 31 and following Route 229 for four miles past ESPN headquarters.
Baseball legends including Babe Ruth, Martin Dihigo, Warren Spahn, and Satchel Paige performed at this Connecticut stadium during their careers.
