Green Dragon, Wooden roller coaster at Lake Compounce in Bristol, Connecticut.

The Green Dragon was a wooden roller coaster at Lake Compounce with a traditional out-and-back layout and a chain lift system. The ride featured multiple dips along its wooden track without any inversions.

The coaster opened in 1914 as the park's first electrically powered attraction. It closed in 1926 and was removed the following year.

The Green Dragon drew crowds eager to experience the newest ride technology of its era. It represented the kind of entertainment innovation that made amusement parks popular destinations for families and thrill-seekers alike.

Since the coaster had no inversions, it was accessible to most riders with varying comfort levels. It is important to note that this attraction no longer exists and can only be experienced through historical information.

When the ride was dismantled, its location was not left empty for long. The park replaced it with a different wooden coaster named Wildcat, which opened shortly after.
