Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History

The Weitzman National Museum is a history museum on Independence Mall spread across five floors. It houses a large collection of objects spanning three centuries of Jewish-American history.

The museum was founded in 1976 when Philadelphia was celebrating its 200-year anniversary. The collection started with just a handful of objects and grew to become an important archive of this community's experiences.
