Story Mound

Story Mound is an archaeological site in Sayler Park, Cincinnati, that preserves an original earthen mound from the Adena culture. The structure stands along Gracely Drive and shows no signs of excavation or disturbance from research activities.

This earthen mound was built during the Adena culture period, which lasted between 1000 BCE and 200 CE in southwestern Ohio. The construction methods reflect the development of early societies in North America.
