The William Henry Harrison Tomb State Memorial features a stone structure located at the summit of Mount Nebo overlooking the Ohio River Valley.
After Harrison's death in 1841, his remains were transferred from Washington DC to this location, where a permanent tomb was constructed for his final rest.
The memorial stands as a testament to early American presidential history, containing the remains of both the ninth president and his family members.
Visitors can reach the memorial by taking US Route 50 to Miami Avenue, then following Bower Road west until reaching Cliff Road in North Bend.
This burial site contains the only person in American history who was both a son of a president and father of another president, John Scott Harrison.
